✨ Campus Spotlight ✨

This week, we’re highlighting our San Antonio campus! Led by Principal Dr. Geneva Salinas, this campus holds a special place as the first in the San Antonio area, and it’s continuing to make its mark.

With growth happening every semester, the campus is building something truly special. This year, students launched their very first Student Council, raising funds and creating opportunities for school activities that bring everyone together.

We’re also proud to see students getting involved in SAPI after-school programs, where they’re exploring fashion and photography and using their creativity to showcase their talents and inspire their classmates through the arts.

And to top it all off, this year’s graduating class of 19 students is getting ready to cross the stage 🎓

Stay tuned as we continue to spotlight the amazing things happening across our campuses!

Yesterday, our Laredo South campus had the pleasure of welcoming Freedom to Choose Schools to their campus for a truly memorable visit.

The team had the opportunity to connect with students, teachers, Principal Sandra Castillo, and of course, Torchy & Mini Torchy—making it a day full of school spirit and celebration.

The highlight of the visit was recognizing Laredo South as the nationwide winner of the video challenge. This achievement is a proud moment not only for the campus, but for the entire Triumph Public High Schools community.

The impact of the winning video speaks for itself:
🔶 14,000+ views
🔶 400+ likes
🔶 180+ comments
🔶 1.3K shares

This success reflects the power of collaboration between our students, staff, and community. We extend a special thank you to Principal Castillo for her leadership, and to every student, educator, and community member who contributed to bringing this vision to life. Together, they’ve shared a powerful message about why our students and educators choose Triumph Public High Schools.

We also appreciated the opportunity to reconnect with Erika De La Rosa and meet Janel “Jay” Artis-Wright, Executive Director of Freedom to Choose Schools. We look forward to continuing and strengthening this partnership.

Stay tuned—there may be a podcast conversation on the horizon.

Today, we’re proud to highlight our Triumph Public High School Laredo South, led by Principal Sandra Castillo. Through the dedication of their students, staff, and community, they’ve been making meaningful strides and reaching important milestones together—and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

We’re also excited to share that this campus is home to the 1st place winner of the 7th Annual Spanish Spelling Bee! An achievement that reflects the hard work and commitment seen across their campus.

We’re especially excited for what’s ahead, as they’ll be receiving a $1,000 check from Freedom to Choose Schools tomorrow in recognition of their efforts in meeting their video challenge!

We can’t wait to visit and celebrate alongside them. Stay tuned for more from this special moment! 🎉

Throwing it back to our very first Spanish Spelling Bee in 2018! 🐝 A celebration of language, confidence, and cultura in action. What started as a meaningful moment for our students has grown into a tradition we’re proud to continue.

Tomorrow begins our 6th Annual Spanish Bee in San Antonio, bringing together students from across all Triumph campuses to showcase their talent and dedication. Since 2018, 78 students have taken the stage, each representing their campus with pride.

Led each year by our C&I Team, this event reflects ’s commitment to creating spaces where students shine academically, culturally, and personally. With the support of dedicated sponsors who guide them every step of the way, our students continue to inspire us.

Proud to celebrate the Spanish language, culture, and student excellence in every round, every word, and every voice.

Here’s a little BTS from our Freedom to Choose Schools video campaign! We had some extra fun on set, bringing along our very own mini Torchy, lovingly created by SAPI’s Puro Community Coordinator, Jane 💚. It was the perfect way to tie in the spirit of SAPI’s after-school programming, where creativity, hands-on learning, and community come to life every day. A huge shoutout to our amazing TPHS Laredo South Campus for being part of this experience.

Stay tuned to see the final video!
