Tomorrow is the first day of school!
Our teachers, bus drivers, campus staff, child nutrition teams, custodians, police officers, and administrators are excited to welcome students back for another incredible year.
As you head out Monday morning, please help us start the year safely:
Leave a few minutes earlier than usual.
Expect heavier traffic around schools and bus routes.
Slow down in school zones and watch for students walking and biking.
Review the school bus safety graphic below and remember to stop for flashing red bus lights as required by law.
Most importantly, extend a little grace. The first week is about helping thousands of students safely settle into new routines.
By the end of the week, traffic will ease, routines will become familiar, and everyone will find their rhythm.
Every August, our community comes together to help nearly 12,000 students begin the school year safely. Thank you for doing your part to make tomorrow a great first day for every East Central ISD student.
