Texas A&M University-San Antonio students put their marketing skills to the test at the annual Campaign in a Day competition, earning a second-place finish while developing a marketing campaign for House of Neighborly Service alongside industry professionals.
The hands-on competition challenged students to create real-world solutions for a San Antonio nonprofit while collaborating with a local marketing agency. Through the experience, students gained valuable industry insight, strengthened their professional skills and showcased the creativity and talent of Jaguar Nation.

Texas A&M University-San Antonio faculty member Dr. O. Volkan Ozbek has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award for 2026-2027, becoming the first faculty member to earn the distinction while at the University.
The award will take Ozbek to Austria's Management Center Innsbruck, where he will serve as a guest lecturer and help foster international collaboration while bringing valuable global business perspectives back to A&M-San Antonio classrooms.

Texas A&M University-San Antonio’s esports program reached a major milestone this spring as the Jaguar Overwatch team competed at the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) national championship in Orlando, Florida.
The Jaguars earned a top-eight national finish after battling through one of the nation’s most competitive collegiate esports conferences. Their success highlights the continued growth of varsity esports at A&M-San Antonio and the opportunities available for students to compete at the highest collegiate level.

From milestone wins to postseason battles, the Texas A&M University-San Antonio softball team delivered one of the program's most successful seasons in 2026.
The Jaguars finished with a 26-18 overall record, earned another Red River Athletic Conference Tournament appearance, celebrated Head Coach Nicole Dame's 200th career victory, and saw multiple student-athletes receive All-Conference recognition.
Powered by strong team chemistry, offensive depth and defensive toughness, the Jaguars continued to establish themselves as one of the conference's top programs.

Texas A&M University-San Antonio recently honored nearly 80 Early College High School and dual credit students during the University’s first-ever recognition ceremony.
The students, representing Harlandale STEM Early College High School and Southwest Preparatory Early College High School, earned 42 or more college credit hours while still completing their high school coursework.
The ceremony celebrated not only academic achievement, but also the partnerships between families, school districts and the University that help students get a head start on their college journey.
