Yesterday, we gathered at St. Luke Catholic Church to celebrate and thank the generous donors who make the mission of Hope for the Future possible.

Because of your generosity, Hope for the Future is awarding a record $2.1 million in need-based tuition assistance this year. In addition, the support of TEFA allows even more families to access a Catholic education, expanding our collective impact across the Archdiocese. Together, these programs are making Catholic education more affordable and accessible than ever before.

We're proud to share that Amy Conner, Associate Director of Hope for the Future, and Cynthia Hoffman, Grants Manager for the Archdiocese of San Antonio, were presenters at the Archdiocesan Stewardship Day this past Saturday, hosted by the Department of Stewardship and Development.

Amy shared practical strategies for planning successful fundraising events, cultivating donor relationships, and creating meaningful donor acknowledgment programs.

Cynthia provided an introduction to grant strategy, stewardship, and the fundamentals of effective grant writing.

Thank you to the Department of Stewardship and Development for hosting an inspiring day of learning, collaboration, and sharing best practices that strengthen our parishes, schools, and ministries.

Yesterday, August 18, the Hope for the Future Board of Directors gathered for our annual Board Retreat. We began the day at the Pastoral Ministry Center for fellowship, discussion, and planning before heading to St. James the Apostle Catholic School for a tour and an opportunity to see the impact of our mission firsthand.

The day was filled with meaningful conversations, collaboration, and a shared commitment to ensuring more children have access to a faith-filled, quality Catholic education. Together, we continue working to create opportunities for students and families throughout the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

Thank you Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of San Antonio, Inc. for the use of the van!

Join us this Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at your local H-E-B and help local students start the school year with the tools they need to succeed!

Through the Stuff the Bus campaign, your donation of school supplies will directly support children and families across our community, ensuring students are prepared, confident, and ready to learn on the first day of school.

🎉 We have exciting news!

Hope for the Future has been selected as one of just 9 nonprofit recipients of the Communities In Schools Stuff the Bus Campaign! 🚌📚

This incredible initiative supports 115 schools and 9 nonprofit organizations across our community, helping students start the school year prepared and ready to learn.

💛 Join us this Saturday, August 1 from 9am-5pm by visiting your local H-E-B and donating school supplies in the yellow collection bins.

Together, we can help students succeed both in and out of the classroom!
