As we kick off the new school year, our transportation team is excited to welcome your students back on board. 🚌

The first week brings new routines, heavier traffic, and schedule adjustments, so we appreciate your patience and partnership in keeping everyone safe.

Please keep these key reminders in mind for the start of the year:

1. Pack Your Patience: Bus routes may experience delays during the first few days as drivers, students, and campuses adjust to new pickup and drop-off routines.

2. Seatbelt Requirement: If your student’s bus is equipped with seatbelts, Texas state law and district policy require students to wear them at all times while the bus is in motion.

3. Upcoming Student Scanning Measure (Effective Sept. 8): Beginning September 8, we will introduce a new safety measure requiring students to scan their student IDs when boarding and exiting the bus. More details on badge distribution and usage will be sent out in the coming weeks.

4. Arrive Early: Please have your child at their assigned bus stop at least 10–15 minutes early during the first week.

5. Double-Check Routes: Verify your child’s route number, pickup location, and scheduled times on our district portal before Monday morning.

6. Campus Traffic: If you drive your child to school, allow extra time and adhere strictly to school zone speed limits, crosswalks, and drop-off procedures.

Welcome to Vale Middle School 2026 - 2027 School Year. 1st day of school is Monday, August 10th. School hours are 8:40 am - 3:55 pm. Students will be greeted by faculty and staff to assure your child to be directed to their classes.

A brief description of PTA's responsibilities of each position.

President: Conducts monthly Board & Council meetings, prepares agendas, assists Board members, works as a liaison to the principle and parents. Responsible for running all aspects of PTA

Vice-President - Membership: Assists the President, organizes and conducts membership drives, recruits new members, managing membership data, and promoting PTA benefits and programs

Secretary: Record and keep all minutes of the Board and Association meetings and have all previous minutes available

Treasurer: Manages finances records in accordance of the Bylaws and present monthly and end of the year financial report. Makes sure the books are up to date and accurate.

Parliamentarian: Ensure meetings follow proper procedure, advising on rules and procedures and ensuring fairness and order during meetings

Historian: Capturing, assembling, and preserving records of PTA activities and achievements, collecting volunteer hours

Arts Reflections Chair: Promoting & collecting student entries, facilitating review and judging, and celebrating student achievements

Concessions Chair: Leading the concession operation, including recruiting and managing volunteers, purchasing and stocking items

Advocacy Chair: Educating members, community, and elected officials about key issues, advocating for policies aligned with the organization's priorities

Programs Chair: Planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that benefit students and the school community

Update... market day is still happening. Just not able to join/signup for PTA membership on site & recieve a stingray pin.

Sorry for the inconvenience, Due to Vale not having a PTA Executive Board, Vale can not recieve any sign up for membership on site on Market Day and is canceled. Anyone interested in any position for 2026-2027 PTA please DM us. Especially a President & Treasurer. Without a PTA, there will be lots of events that PTA do can be canceled. Vale's students & staff needs the PTA. Interested to keep this school year going, reach out.
