Proud moment for BRAINATION and Inspire Academies! This week at the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools Conference in New Orleans, our Board President, Otis "Scotty" Scott, Jr., and Superintendent Justin Johnston took the stage to present to educators from across the country. 🎤✨

They shared insights on elevating board voices in advocacy and fostering excellence in teaching and leading at opportunity charter schools. Thank you, Scotty and Justin, for leading the conversation and representing our mission on a national stage!

What a wild, action-packed week of AFIA Summer Experience! 🚒🐰

• Fire Safety & Prevention: Local firefighters visited to teach emergency preparedness and answer student questions. Thank you, San Antonio Fire Department, for your time!
• Wildlife Adventure: A Once in a Wild on-campus field trip brought live animals up close to teach us about habitats, adaptations, and conservation.

Through it all, our Change Makers kept building their collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills! 🌟 It's going to be a fantastic final week!

Investing in our leaders means investing in our students! 🌟 Our campus leaders are learning from the best at the Math Leadership Camp, led by Kim Sutton of Creative Mathematics.

With over three decades of expert educational consulting, Creative Mathematics focuses on practical, fun, and standards-based tools. Our educators love providing these creative, hands-on math activities for students!

AFIA Summer Experience students have had wonderful field trips to Morgan’s Wonderland and SeaWorld, exploring, learning, and making memories together! Thank you to all of our families and chaperones who helped make these experiences possible.

Students are excited for another fun-filled week ahead, packed with activities, collaboration, and hands-on learning. One of the highlights has been daily team challenges led by their amazing high school mentors. They have done a fantastic job building relationships, encouraging teamwork, and keeping students engaged while having fun!
