Huge shoutout to Michael Baker and the warehouse team for their incredible hard work and proactive dedication! 👏👏

When an unexpected emergency delivery hit on July 16th due to severe weather and unforeseen circumstances, the KSTC warehouse was available to save the day with an unexpected delivery. Thanks to the warehouse team's outstanding efforts in keeping the warehouse organized and pristine, we had the exact space needed to handle the situation seamlessly.

The Executive Director shared high praise, "I haven't seen the warehouse that clean in... well... EVER!"

Thank you, Michael and team, for turning a challenging situation into a major win through your dedication to excellence. We appreciate you!

The clock is ticking! ⏳ With over 130 campuses and 95,000+ students to serve, our campus TSS teams and Training Managers have a strict 2-week window to get every single device deployed. This massive district-wide distribution is a monumental task, but our teams are built for it!

This high-speed rollout is only possible thanks to the proactive preparation done at the end of the last school year, when teams worked tirelessly to collect, audit, and organize thousands of devices as campuses closed. Now, we are coordinating intense logistics across all 130+ schools to keep deployment lines moving. It’s an ultimate team effort to seamlessly get vital learning tools into the hands of 95k+ students right out of the gate.

A massive thank you to our entire department for the intense focus, summer prep, and exceptional teamwork making this distribution a success! 💪

They had multiple projects to tackle over the past months to ensure our district is fully prepared for the upcoming school year. Their work this Summer includes supporting Summer School programs, assisting in new resources for our TSS, and developing an all new Middle School Cart Playbook.

As we gear up for an amazing school year, let’s make sure our digital classrooms stay as safe as our physical ones! Here’s a quick 4-step checklist for all teachers and staff before the first bell rings:
1️⃣ Update Your Passwords & Enable MFA: Use a unique passphrase and turn on Multi-Factor Authentication where available.
2️⃣ Beware the Inbox: Early-term phishing spikes are real! Double-check senders before clicking links or opening attachments.
3️⃣ Keep Devices Fresh: Run those pending software and OS updates on your school-issued devices.
4️⃣ Protect Student Data: Double-check sharing permissions on Google Docs before sending files out.

Don’t forget to focus on your why. There will be challenges, celebrations, and plenty of unforgettable moments, but your purpose is what will keep you grounded.

And yes—we even learned a little from the Hokey Pokey. Sometimes it’s about putting your whole self in. Show up, stay prepared, and give your students your best each day.
