🩺 While the classrooms quiet down, the check-ups begin.

Meet Ray! He is one of our dedicated campus technicians who works hard to keep our school technology running smoothly. Whether he is resolving daily work orders, repairing device hardware, or pushing out critical system updates, Ray keeps our campus equipment in tip-top shape.

Over the summer weeks, Ray and our technician team will physically inspect, repair, and update over 1,000 student and teacher devices. Because of his hard work behind the scenes, our classrooms will have fast, working tools ready to go on the very first day of school next August. 💻

No buffering here… a few of our Technology Services team had a high-speed learning session with Alice Keeler on all things Google AI. 🚀

Thanks to for bringing this opportunity to Northside ISD. We were happy to host and are already compiling new ideas into our AI operating system.

A highlight for our Information Services team was the launch of an Asset Management Dashboard! This highly anticipated tool gives campus administrators a real-time, "birds-eye view" of their entire technology portfolio.

By putting data directly into the hands of our campus leaders, we’re making it easier to:

📉 Track inventory with a single click.
📋 Plan for the future with accurate device data.
🛠️ Manage resources more effectively than ever before.

Empower our school community through collaborative, reliable, and secure technology, preparing students for a connected future.

Don't wave a Summer Cybersecurity Red Flag!

School is almost out, but data privacy never takes a vacation.
🌴 Teachers and staff, if your summer digital habits look like this, it’s a major red flag:
🚩 Using "Free Beach Wi-Fi" to access student records or district email. (Always use a VPN or your phone's hotspot!)
🚩 Leaving your work laptop in a hot car—unlocked and logged in. (A physical security risk is a digital security risk.)
🚩 Using the same password for your work account and your new vacation booking site. 🏨
🚩 Real-time posting your travel itinerary. (Wait for the photo dump once you’re safely home!)
Let's keep the red flags on the lifeguard stand, not in your inbox.

Have a safe, secure, and well-deserved break! 🌊🔐

While the school year is winding down for some, our Technology Support Specialist (TSS) team is just getting started! 🛠️💻
Right now, our TSS are juggling major projects to serve our community such as...

Managing the Lifecycle: Spearheading the iPad 8 ""End-of-Life"" transition by safely retiring older devices to ensure safe operating systems for our students.

Summer Readiness: Collecting devices, updating OS, and making sure devices are prepared for summer school learning and the 26-27 school year.

A huge shoutout to our TSS team for their precision and dedication in keeping our district’s tech lifecycle moving forward. Thank you for the "behind-the-scenes" magic that powers our classrooms! ✨

Think of the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) as a "Digital Driver’s License" for . It’s a shared agreement that ensures our technology remains a safe, professional, and productive space for everyone. 🛡️💻

Here’s the breakdown:

Be Kind: Technology is for building community, not tearing it down. Respect and digital etiquette are key. ✨

Be Safe: Protect your "Digital House." Never share passwords or personal info with unverified sources. 🔐

Be Focused: District tools are for learning. The AUP helps students stay on track and avoid digital distractions. 🎓

Be Responsible: We are all ""tewards of the Tech." Proper care ensures our devices last for the next class of learners. 🛠️

The Goal: We aren’t just setting rules; we’re training the next generation of responsible Digital Citizens. 🌍👣

Teamwork makes the dream work! No one likes a fiber cut — especially when it impacts campuses. While we hoped for a quick resolution, preparing for a worst-case scenario required many hands across multiple teams. Huge thanks to our partners for making the overnight fix and getting our campuses back up and running, and to our incredible team who stayed late preparing a Plan B just in case.
