NEISD is closely monitoring weather forecasts and local conditions. 🚌🌧️

Due to the potential for flooding and possible unexpected road closures, our school bus drivers will exercise extra caution to ensure student safety. This may result in delays or adjusted routes. The safety and well-being of our community remain our highest priority.

We appreciate your patience and encourage everyone to use caution when traveling in affected areas. Please check the NEISD website at neisd.net and follow social media channels regularly for real-time announcements and updates.

Apple Day in Kindergarten! 🍎 Kinders enjoyed tasting different kinds of apples, creating apple-inspired art, and listening to read-alouds about the legendary Johnny Appleseed. 📚🍏

To wrap up the celebration, students graphed their class’s favorite type of apple and discovered which variety was the most popular! 📊🍎

It was a fun-filled day of learning, exploring, and, of course, enjoying some delicious apples! ❤️🍏

A huge THANK YOU to our neighborhood H-E-B at O’Connor & Nacogdoches for their generous donation of snacks! These donations will directly benefit students across our community.

We truly appreciate H-E-B for continuing to support our schools, students, and families!

Kindergarten had so much fun celebrating the end of Unit 3 of our Superkids curriculum with a special Golly Day! 🎉

Kindergarteners spent the day learning and playing with all things G and Golly! 🔤✨ They searched for items that begin with the /g/ sound, played Golly Bingo, and even put their sense of smell to the test! 👃🐶 Students smelled different items and tried to guess what they were—just like Golly the dog!

It was a day full of learning, laughter, and lots of Golly fun! We are so proud of everything our Superkids have learned! 💚📚
