NVC Faculty Advising Be Advised! Faculty advisers are here to help students with questions about classes, transfers, careers and more!

Our vision is to provide students with a variety of academic advising services to assist them in attaining thier educational and career goals. Advising provides students with the guidance they need to develop and complete thier academic goals. Faculty Advisors and Student Success advisors help students with career planning, academic requirements, course selection, and degree or certificate complet

ion. Academic advising is a shared responsibility between the student and advisor. Students who have a declared major or identified an area of interest should seek faculty advising. Students should contact the department that houses thier area of interest to be assigned a faculty advisor.
