One of the great parts about being in SLI is getting to spend time with like-minded individuals. Student leaders from across the five colleges (including some amazing visitors from SPC PTK) came together for some great fellowship, reflection, and leadership development. Our Leaders of Leaders, Naphtali Bryant and Jackie Ward, made easy connections and left lasting impressions with today’s group. .bryant

SLI Tier 2 chose to get together in person for class this week. We met at TC for a bite to eat, great conversation, lots of laughs, and a small service project. Our learning opportunity this week focuses on Shawn Achor’s TedTalk on The Happy Secret to Better Work and starting a new, positive habit.

Student leaders from the Student Leadership Institute volunteered at the Alamo Colleges District/San Antonio Food Bank Pop Up Market at the Eastside Education and Training (EETC) today. It was the first time some of us have met in person and a great team building activity!

Our time was cut short on Friday due to the storms that rolled through. So, we are inviting our SLI Alumni and current SLIers out to celebrate one more time!
