Thank you, Catherine Love, LPC-S, for speaking with our MS1 students about the counseling services, wellness resources, and support systems available to them throughout their training.

Medical and graduate school can be both exciting and challenging, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to connect our students with resources that promote well-being, resilience, and success. Thank you for sharing your expertise and helping our students understand the many ways they can access support during their physician-scientist journey.

A huge thank you to our student panelists, Jack, Persephone, Harrison and Abilene for sharing their time, experiences, and advice with our newest MS1 students during our first New Student Orientation lunch.

As part of our Student Seminar Series, they led the session “Welcome to the STX-MSTP! How to Make the Best of First Semester,” offering practical tips, honest insights, and encouragement to help our incoming students navigate the exciting transition into medical and graduate training.

Peer mentorship is one of the greatest strengths of the STX-MSTP community, and we are grateful to our senior students for helping set our newest cohort up for success from day one.
