Hillcrest Elementary, SAISD

A Champion in every child Hillcrest, originally named Beanville School after Judge Roy Bean, opened its doors in 1907.

In 1919, the school's name was changed to Hillcrest because it sits on top of a hill. The name represents an inspiration to reach high ideals and a broad view of life. Since 1907, the building has undergone several additions, however the original part of the building still remains. Hillcrest will be a place where students can reach their goals for many years to come.
