Hillcrest Elementary, SAISD

Hillcrest Elementary, SAISD A Champion in every child Hillcrest, originally named Beanville School after Judge Roy Bean, opened its doors in 1907.

In 1919, the school's name was changed to Hillcrest because it sits on top of a hill. The name represents an inspiration to reach high ideals and a broad view of life. Since 1907, the building has undergone several additions, however the original part of the building still remains. Hillcrest will be a place where students can reach their goals for many years to come.

🎉 95% in attendance today! Way to go tigers! Today the top three classes with the best attendance in August will celebrate with a bubble party and a drink. We will continue with our daily raffle for the month of September! A reminder that those with perfect attendance all this month will get a prize! Let's keep going with our strong attendance next week!

Yahoo!! Today we were at 96% in attendance and yesterday we were at 95%. Let's keep this momentum going. We announced our first raffle winners yesterday and will do today for September attendance awareness month! All students who come to school will be in the daily raffles and all students with perfect attendance all month will get a prize! Way to go tigers!

Dear Families and Staff:

Campus administration visited our school this weekend to walk the facility and ensure we’re ready for school on Monday, Aug. 31. We will begin school at our regular time, and buses will run on established schedules. We will be ready to greet your child with breakfast in the morning.
