Helotes Area Community Band  The Helotes Area Community Band, under the direction of Chuck Kuentz, was organized in July 2008 with seven members and has grown to over 60 active musicians. Charles L. Kuentz, Jr., namesake of Kuentz Elementary School, serves as the Band's Director Emeritus. 

Congratulations to the class of 2020! Everyone, stay safe and enjoy your summer. Take time to learn a new skill during the break and bring a little happiness into the world.

Good luck to all music students preparing for Region Band, Choir, and Orchestra auditions. Good luck to all of the teachers working with students to help them prepare and advance as musicians in working towards this goal. Thanks for everything you do for your students.
