🍎🌳 ADVENTURES ON THE ARK WEEKLY RECAP — JOHNNY APPLESEED WEEK! 🌳🍎

What an APPLE-SOLUTELY FUN week we had on the Ark! 🍎🍏🎉

We discovered the story of Johnny Appleseed, whose real name was John Chapman, and learned how he planted apple seeds and cared for young apple trees. 🌱🌳🍎

🔬🍎 APPLE SCIENCE & DISCOVERY!
We became little scientists as we explored apples from the outside all the way to the inside! 👀🔎 We investigated the skin, stem, flesh, core, and seeds and discovered how one tiny apple seed can eventually grow into an apple tree. 🌱🌳

And then came our FAVORITE discovery… 🥹✨

🍎⭐ GOD PUT A SPECIAL SURPRISE INSIDE OUR APPLE! ⭐🍎

When we cut our apple across the middle, we discovered a beautiful STAR hiding right inside! ⭐🤯🍎

What a sweet reminder that God’s amazing creations are filled with little surprises just waiting for us to discover them. 🙏💛

We wrapped up our week celebrating Johnny Appleseed’s birthday with lots of apple fun and, of course… APPLE PIE & ICE CREAM! 🥧🍦🎉

🐢 TUCKER THE TURTLE • FRIENDSHIP • LETTER A 🔤💜

September is here and we kicked off our NEW SCHOOL YEAR with a BANG! 🎉🍎✏️

🐢 TUCKER THE TURTLE IS BACK!
This week Tucker helped us become PROBLEM-SOLVING SUPERSTARS! ⭐ We learned how to STOP ✋, take 3 deep breaths 🌬️🌬️🌬️, THINK about our problem 💭, choose a solution from Tucker’s Solution Toolbox 🧰, and GIVE IT A TRY! 🙌

🔎 BIG PROBLEM OR SMALL PROBLEM?
We practiced figuring out the difference! Is someone hurt or is there danger? 🚨 That’s a BIG problem and we need a grown-up! Is it something we can work through using our words and Tucker’s tools? 💬💡 That may be a SMALL problem we can learn to solve.

💜 FRIENDSHIP STARTS HERE!
We talked about what it means to be a GOOD FRIEND—using kind words, sharing, taking turns, asking nicely, playing together, helping our friends, and saying “Please stop” when we need to. 🤝💕😊

🍎 A IS FOR AWESOME!
We kicked off our alphabet learning with the Letter A! 🔤🍎 We practiced recognizing our uppercase A and lowercase a, listened for its sound, and found words that begin with A. 👀👂✨

And when our first solution doesn’t work?

🐢💡 WE TRY AGAIN!

What an AMAZING beginning to September! New skills, new adventures, growing friendships, and LOTS of excitement are already happening on the Ark! 🎉🌈⛵

🏕️🧸 PAJAMA CAMP DAY ON THE ARK! 🧸🏕️

Pajamas + camping + s’mores = the PERFECT Fun Friday! 🤩🌲

Our Happy Campers arrived in their cozy PAJAMAS ready for one last camping adventure! 🌙✨

⛺ We climbed into our tent and headed outside with bug catchers and magnifying glasses for a campsite critter hunt! 🐞🔎🦗

🛏️ We brought out the sleeping bags for silly games, giggles, and lots of pajama-party fun!

🔥 When it was time to gather around the campfire, our flashlights came out for even more camping adventures! 🔦🏕️

And of course, we couldn’t have Camp Day without…

🍫🔥 S’MORES! 🔥🍫
Sticky fingers, chocolatey smiles, and some VERY happy little campers! 😋

From pajamas and sleeping bags to tents, bugs, flashlights, campfires, and s’mores, we couldn’t have asked for a better ending to our Happy Campers Week! 🏕️🌲💜

Grab your boots, zip up your tent, and get ready for an ADVENTURE because our Happy Campers had a WILD week on the Ark! 🥾⛺🐍🦎

🧢 Junior Park Rangers
We became little Park Rangers and talked about how rangers help take care of our parks—picking up trash, protecting nature, and helping keep animals safe. 🌳🦌🗑️

🦎 Lizards, Snakes & Campsite Critters
Who might come crawling through the campsite?! 👀🐍🦎🐞 We discovered where lizards make their homes, talked about sneaky snakes, and met some of the little critters we might find while camping.

⛺ Campground Know-How
ZIP THAT TENT! 🤭 We talked about keeping our tents zipped so unwanted critter guests stay OUT and wearing our boots when exploring through tall grass to help protect our feet and legs. 🥾🌾🐍

🔥 Campfire Safety
Campfires are fun—but safety comes FIRST! We talked about staying a safe distance from the fire, following grown-up directions, and never playing near flames. 🔥⛺

From Park Rangers and creepy-crawly critters to tents, boots, snakes, lizards, and campfire safety, our Happy Campers were ready for the great outdoors! 🏕️🌲✨

Today we welcomed a very special new little friend to our Noah’s Ark family—Holly! 💛

Her first day marks the beginning of a brand-new preschool chapter filled with friendships, learning, laughter, faith, and so many sweet memories still waiting to be made. We feel blessed that God chose our little Ark to be part of Holly’s journey. 🥰
