Interpreters work in many different fields and display flexibility, passion, and professionalism as they facilitate communication everyday. If you’re thinking of pursuing an Interpreting degree, but are unsure why there are so many courses required 🤨- the answer is because interpreting is more than just signing! This is also the same for Deaf Support Specialists! Both careers require ethical decision-making, cultural mediation, and professional discretion. 🎓

The San Antonio College ASL Lab is hosting a Toy Drive this season!
It’s the season of giving! 🎁 Beginning now, until December 5, 2024, the ASL Lab accepts new and unwrapped toys, crafts, books and games for all ages under 18 years. 🧸🚂🪁🪀🧶📚🧩🎲 Please, NO perishable food or clothes.
Please drop all items off before December 5 at ASL Lab, D401.
