Mustang Pride on the San Antonio River Walk! ❤️💙🐎

What an incredible opportunity for our Thomas Jefferson High School spirit groups! Tonight, our Mustangs were invited to participate in the 2026 Rey Feo Super Hero River Parade for Education, representing Jefferson aboard one of the parade floats on our beautiful San Antonio River Walk!

Our students proudly brought a little Mustang spirit to this special community celebration alongside superheroes, performers and organizations from across San Antonio. Even more meaningful, the event benefits the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation, whose mission is to expand educational opportunities and provide scholarships for deserving students pursuing higher education. 🎓✨

We are so proud that our students were asked to be part of an event that celebrates education, community, culture and the young people of San Antonio.

Thank you to the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation for inviting our Mustangs to be part of such a memorable evening!

If your students needs to make up hours for attendance, we have a great opportunity for you!

Students will receive 5 attendance make-up hours when their parent/guardian attends the meeting.

We encourage our Mustang families to attend, learn important information, and support their student's attendance success.

Yearbook Picture Day is coming up! Photos will be taken October 14, 15, and 16 in the SUB.

Student photos will be taken through their English classes. For teachers and staff, photographers will be available in the SUB throughout the day, so please feel free to stop by during your conference period, lunch, or any other free time to have your photo taken.
