Today, we celebrate four extraordinary educators whose dedication, leadership, and service have left a lasting mark on our Mustang family.
Congratulations to our retirees:
🔬 Dolores Williams – Science Teacher and Department Chair
For years, Ms. Williams inspired curiosity, fostered a love of learning, and provided steadfast leadership to both students and colleagues. Her impact on our science program and school community will be felt for generations.
🌎 Beatriz Warburton – French and Spanish Teacher
Madame Warburton opened doors to new cultures, languages, and perspectives for countless students. Her passion for world languages and commitment to student success enriched our campus in immeasurable ways.
❤️ Iris Perez – ALE Teacher
Ms. Perez dedicated her career to supporting students with compassion, patience, and an unwavering belief in their potential. Her kindness and advocacy made a profound difference in the lives of so many students and families.
We also recognize a remarkable leader whose next chapter begins this summer:
🏆 Esperanza “Hope” Garza – Lead Counselor
Mrs. Garza was honored with the Enduring Impact Award, a fitting recognition for someone whose influence has touched countless students, families, and staff members. While we are sad to see her leave Jefferson, we are excited for her as she begins a new journey as the Lead Counselor at Creek View High School in Medina Valley ISD. Her leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to students have left an enduring legacy that will continue to be felt for years to come.
Thank you, Dolores, Beatriz, Iris, and Hope, for the countless lives you have touched and the legacy you leave behind. Your dedication has helped shape generations of Mustangs, and your impact will never be forgotten.
❤️💙🐎 Once a Mustang, Always a Mustang.
