THE WEEK IN REVIEW
The STEM Academy at Dwight Middle hosted a group from the Texas Education Agency. The TEA is doing Listening Tours across the state. They are visiting schools to gather information and feedback about what they want to see in future STEM and CTE programs for children. During the group’s visit to the STEM Academy with Superintendent Dr. Alex Flores and district administrators, they were shown several classes and student projects to include Christmas ornaments designed and made with a 3-D printer and Christmas cards designed with LED lights.
