Nothing quite like an afternoon in the TX Hill Country. We had a lovely time sampling some of the local brews and just catching up with one another. Yes, we are married and live in the same condo. But, with two extremely busy lives, it is vital to carve out time to dedicate to our relationship. And this is just one of the many things we enjoy doing together.

This is the book I'm currently working through. It is a bit slow up front, but once it gets into the principles, it flows nicely. This book also provides several practical tools for strengthening your relationship at home.

Hey friends, I am a recovering "Road Warrior". I used to travel 150K to 200K air miles per year - covering the USA and Canada. It was my responsibility to provide sales/product/and leadership training for 127 supply centers and 85 independent distributors - plus their customer bases, across 52 states and 10 provinces. Needless to say, I was an honors member with Hilton, Marriott Hotels, and both American Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

Looking back at these 10 years of my life, I'm simply amazed that Michelle Browning and I are still married. It's not that we have a bad marriage - anything but. Rather, it is that she truly did a lion's share of the heavy lifting during my corporate phase. Michelle maintained our home - cared for our finances - raised our daughter - and loved and supported me through the entire corporate climb-the-ladder part of my career. What an amazing wife I have!!

Much of what I do today is a tribute to her patience with my slow learning curve. But, that is a story for another day.

The bottom line here is - WELCOME!!

If you landed here, you probably have an understanding of my story. You may have even lived it yourself. If so, I'm sorry...LOL. You have also had to navigate the challenges of living on the road - achieving professional success - while failing at home. And those failures do weigh on you.

It's tough barely maintaining a marriage to the person you swore you would love forever (until death do us part). And now, you know your "work wife" better than your "real wife". You know more about your customer's kids than you do your own.

Yep - been there - done that - got the entire closet full of T-shirts.
