🌟 Student Spotlight: Sophia Guerrero ‘28 🌟

September marks the Month to Celebrate Creation! 🌎🌱 We are proud to highlight Sophia Guerrero for her involvement in the Land Ambassador Program at the Witte Museum!

As a Land Stewardship Ambassador, Sophia learned what it truly means to care for and protect the natural world. In her own words:
"A land stewardship ambassador is a person who develops a relationship to the land, someone who cares for it and helps protect its self-sustaining system. My experience in this program was amazing to say the least. Though the workload was a lot on top of school and sports, it was definitely worth it for both the knowledge and mental resilience I gained."

Balancing academic work, athletics, and environmental stewardship is no easy feat. Sophia displayed incredible dedication, passion, and resilience throughout this journey, setting a wonderful example for our entire community.

Join us in celebrating Sophia for her hard work and commitment to protecting our environment! 🌿👏
