Last week, we hosted a delegation of 14 leaders from across Europe participating in the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). The visit was coordinated through the San Antonio Council for International Visitors as part of the group’s U.S. Energy Policy: Security, Independence and Innovation program.

EAA General Manager Roland Ruiz and staff welcomed the delegation for a discussion highlighting the Edwards Aquifer, EAA’s work, and the region’s approach to managing and protecting the aquifer. EAA Board Member Byron Miller, Bexar County – District 2, Treasurer, helped facilitate the opportunity for EAA to host the delegation.
