MLK Memorial Chess Tournament 1/13/2018
MLK 22nd Annual Chess Tournament was held on January 13, 2018. Two hundred and twenty two students from grades K - 12 participating in the 5 round Swiss Tournament directed by EC Chase
Chessforeducation created the annual MLK Chess Tournament 22 years ago as one of the first event for the yearly MLK celebration in San Antonio Texas. It is always held the Saturday before the MLK holiday. January 13, 2018 the event had 222 students take part in the 22nd Annual Chess Tournament in honor of a man that made great moves for justice and equality for all people.
