SAISD, in partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank, is hosting an emergency drive-thru food distribution event to help SAISD families experiencing a food resource emergency because of the storms and power outages this past weekend. Distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

SAISD schools will operate on a normal schedule Monday, Aug. 31. CPS Energy continues working to restore service, and district teams are actively inspecting campuses to ensure they are safe, operational, and ready to welcome students and staff.

We will provide another update at approximately 6 p.m.
