In light of long-needed discussions related to elevating the voices of black lives in all spheres, SNMA has drafted a list of demands of changes that we would like to see at the Long School of Medicine (LSOM), and the rest of UTHSA community. We know that bettering black lives will have to be the responsibility of everyone, so we are asking for your solidarity with SNMA and all BIPOC students here at LSOM. Please take a few moments of your time to go through the demands, sign the petition, and share it with everyone.
We look forward to conversations with the administration to see how bettering the lives of Black students will enhance the lives of all URiM students, the entire student body, and the UTHSA community at large. We would like to thank you all in advance for being willing to encourage and participate in these difficult, but necessary conversations and for your help in bringing about change to our school.
