For 80 years, the Alamo Colleges District has expanded access to higher education across Central and South Texas.

Our five colleges offer nationally recognized programs that support student success and economic mobility. The Alamo Colleges District is comprised of five independently accredited community colleges — Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip's College and San Antonio College — offering more than 300 associate degree and certificate programs. The Alamo Colleges District Board of Trustees has approved the FY 2027 operating budget of $585.8 million, supporting the programs, services, and people that help students achieve their goals.

The budget continues investments in AlamoPROMISE, AlamoBOOKS+, AlamoADVISE, Student Advocacy Centers, and employee talent strategies as we prepare to serve a projected 95,000 learners.

Join us Thursday, June 25, for the opening of From the West Side to the World: Un Homenaje a Flaco Jiménez, an exhibition celebrating the life, music, and cultural legacy of legendary accordionist Flaco Jiménez.

Rooted in the traditions of San Antonio's West Side, Flaco Jiménez helped transform conjunto music into a global cultural force while remaining deeply connected to his community. This exhibition explores his journey and lasting impact on music and culture.

This weekend, the Alamo Colleges District community came together at the Missions game to celebrate our AlamoPROMISE Scholars.

Since 2020, AlamoPROMISE has served more than 30,000 scholars, helping open doors to opportunity, education, and rewarding careers.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night of baseball, community, and celebration. ⚾
