For 80 years, the Alamo Colleges District has expanded access to higher education across Central and South Texas.

Our five colleges offer nationally recognized programs that support student success and economic mobility. The Alamo Colleges District is comprised of five independently accredited community colleges — Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip's College and San Antonio College — offering more than 300 associate degree and certificate programs. Join us tomorrow for the closing ceremony of From the West Side to the World: Un Homenaje a Flaco Jiménez at the Common Ground Gallery in the ACCESS Building, 1st Floor (2222 N. Alamo St., San Antonio, TX 78215). Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 6 p.m.

The evening will feature remarks, a community plática, live music, and the exclusive premiere of a new tribute song and music video by Pete Astudillo and Chris Pérez. Guests can also experience a special altar created by the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center.
