Do you have a child who took the PSAT in October? If so, PSAT scores are posted in your child's College Board account. Qualifying scores could be used in leiu of STAAR English I and Algebra I. Hard copies will be sent home in January when they are received. How do you know if their scores qualify as a substitute for STAAR?

CAST Tech Families, Please see update from SAISD:

We are aware that the governor is opening facilities statewide and lifting the mask mandate during the current pandemic. Safety remains a priority within SAISD, and today’s announcement does not change our commitment to safe and healthy environments for our students and staff. We will work with our families who want their children to return, and as always, we will continue to have a virtual option for families who need that, too. We will continue to follow our safety matrix and align with Metro Health guidelines, and we will look for further guidance from the Texas Education Agency.
