A TIA designation is a prestigious distinction awarded to highly effective public school teachers in Texas. This recognition is added directly to a teacher’s State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) certificate for five years.

Our Pre-K students had an amazing Splash Day filled with fun, laughter, and lots of bubbles! 💦🫧☀️

The excitement grew even bigger when a fire truck came to join the fun and sprayed bubbles for the students to enjoy. It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of the school year and kick off summer fun! 🚒

Last Friday, our staff wrapped up the week with one of our favorite Wortham traditions — the annual staff water balloon fight! 💦🎈

There was lots of laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition as our staff cooled off and celebrated the end of another amazing school year together. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a fun and memorable event! ☀️

Today, Mrs. Cain’s and Mrs. Cobos’ Pre-K students made lemonade from scratch! 🍋 Our students learned how to follow recipe instructions, work together as a team, and enjoy the sweet reward of their hard work with a delicious glass of lemonade.

They are officially ready for summer and excited to make it again at home! ☀️

Shining a spotlight on Ms. Bessellieu’s 2nd-grade class today! 🌟📚

Her students are officially PUBLISHED authors! They designed and wrote a beautiful class book through Studentreasures, and celebrated with a fantastic ice cream party. 🍦🎉
