Northern Hills has been celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month which is September 15th - October 15th. We've been learning a Spanish Word every day during our morning announcements and next week we will add to the celebration.

Here is the break down for next week:
Monday, Oct 5: Lotería Dress-Up – Dress as your favorite character or card from traditional Lotería (El Sol, La Rosa, La Estrella, etc.)!
Tuesday, Oct 6: Fiesta Day – Wear your brightest and most colorful fiesta gear!
Wednesday, Oct 7: College T-Shirt Day – Show off your favorite college or university shirt! (every Wednesday is College T-Shirt Day)
Thursday, Oct 8: Hispanic Culture Icons – Dress as an inspiring Hispanic figure from history, art, music, sports, or literature!

NEISD is closely monitoring weather forecasts and local conditions. 🚌🌧️

Due to the potential for flooding and possible unexpected road closures, our school bus drivers will exercise extra caution to ensure student safety. This may result in delays or adjusted routes. The safety and well-being of our community remain our highest priority.

We appreciate your patience and encourage everyone to use caution when traveling in affected areas. Please check the NEISD website at neisd.net and follow social media channels regularly for real-time announcements and updates.
