Welcome to Texas A&M University-San Antonio, Dr. Ochoa!

The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents announced Dr. Salvador Hector Ochoa as the sole finalist for president of Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Dr. Ochoa currently serves as provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at San Diego State University. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a South Texas native. On today’s 📣 We are introducing one of our Staff Council members Angelica Garza ✨

Angelica is a Director for the office of Admissions and has been with A&M-SA for 3 years. She is an incoming member (Class of 2023) and is on the Social and Community Service Committee!🐾

The purpose of our Meet The Council Monday, is to highlight our members and to put a face to a name! ⭐️ In hopes of creating an opening and comfortable environment to openly speak with us and to voice any concerns! 🗣 We are here to help and listen! 😁

This will also give you an opportunity to learn a little bit about us and what we enjoy doing outside of work! 🥳
