This School Board Member Appreciation Month, we’re honoring our Board President, Otis “Scotty” Scott, Jr.!

Enrollment season is here, and it’s going to be National ! Do you know someone interested in learning more about AFIA? Join us at School Discovery Network’s School Discovery Day at The DoSeum this Saturday, January 24, from 9 AM – 12PM.

Families will have the chance to meet with school representatives, ask questions, fill out an application, and learn about our enrollment process.

Come for the information and stay for the fun! Guests can also enjoy beats by the young DJs of The AM Project, catch Once in a Wild mobile zoo’s animal program, and enter for a chance to win a raffle prize. Guests who register for School Discovery Day will also enjoy free admission to The DoSeum’s 68,000 square feet of wow-worthy galleries designed to cultivate curiosity, ignite learning, and discover the power of play through interactive fun.

Last week, our students honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through a series of activities designed to spark reflection, kindness, and big dreams for the future. From sharing "I Have a Dream" statements at our school-wide assembly to performing intentional acts of kindness, our students showed what it means to lead with heart.
