The purpose of this organization is to provide information, assistance, scholarships, and fellowship for students who are interested in Bicultural and Bilingual Studies and to encourage awareness for Bilingual Education among all students, faculty, and the community.

We will be hosting a Día de los Niños event along with .tamusa & for a fun cultural celebration 🎉 we will have face painting, games, and snacks provided by us! Bring your family, friends, and of course, all the littles!! 💜

They say team work makes the dream work 🤝🏼 & .tamusa are collaborating on an event to celebrate el Día del Niño! 🧒🏻
We will be giving away toys🚂 as prizes for the little ones so we ask all our members to please donate toys 🧸 and your donation will count as 1 VOLUNTEER HOUR. Our awesome members in both MASA and BESO have distributed bins around campus for you to donate toys.

Friendly reminder to all our members that during our General meeting this week we will also be holding elections for our future BESO Officers! We can’t wait to see some of our members step up to become the next group of leaders.
Being an officer for the Bilingual Education Student Organization is not only an experience, but you get to build on skills like, leadership, planning & organizing, advocacy, and building relationships. All of these things help you create those connections that will benefit you in the long run. 💋🩷

We’re so honored that our President, María, and our Vice President, Irlanda, were invited to speak at the Speaker Series: Dialect as a First Step along with two other guest speakers and hosted by Thank you to all our members that came out to support 💜
