Our aim is to help young men grade develop their leadership talents and achieve personal and academic success.

We emphasize the importance of constructive contributions to the community and prepare members for future leadership roles.

As we head into the summer, SAAC would like to recognize the Brothers whose impacts pushed the chapter forward during this fraternal year:

Brother of the Year: Bro. Myles Moore - whose exemplary leadership and dedication to Achievement was showcased throughout every event he planned, membership intake initiative he supported and community service he attended.

Distinguished Service Award: Bro. Demetrius Gresham - who has continuously advanced the mission of Kappa by developing young leaders through the SAAC Guide Right program.

Achievement Award: Bro Robert Foster - who executed multiple “Room to Read” initiatives in support of the 2026 National Day of Reading, highlighting SAAC’s commitment to youth development.

Achievement Award: Bro Calvin Boutte - who successfully led the planning, on-site coordination and ex*****on of SAAC’s participation the 2026 Taste of New Orleans.

Achievement Award: Bro. Brian Munford - who stepped into the role of Chair of the Membership Training Academy and successfully brought in seven new brothers into the greatest bond of fraternity.

(Not pictured but awarded) Polemarch Award: Bro. Sedrick Jackson - who has consistently stepped forwarded and supported multiple chapter initiatives since his initiation into the chapter, reflecting the true meaning to selfless service.

(Not pictured but also awarded with a) Distinguished Service Award: Bro. James McClain III - who has served as the Chair of the Senior Kappa Committee and continued to strengthen the bond through fellowship, service and programming.

We also congratulate Bro. Dr Travis Batts and Bro. Rick June, who both became a lifetime members of the Mighty Southwestern Province!
