We had a wonderful first week back! As we head into Week 2, here are a few quick reminders to help our Seahawks start each day ready for success:

👕 Dress Code / Uniforms
Last week, we provided some grace as students and families transitioned back to school. Beginning tomorrow, our dress code will be fully enforced. If your child arrives out of dress code, we will contact home so appropriate clothing can be provided.

🎉 Attendance – 100% Matters!
Every day at school means more opportunities to learn and grow! Students with 100% attendance will have opportunities to participate in monthly celebrations—and families will have opportunities to win quarterly prizes too!

⏰ Tardies
Instruction begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Tardies add up and impact learning, so please do your best to have your child on campus, settled, and ready to learn by 8:00 a.m.

🦅 SEAHAWK FAMILIES – 3 IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR NEXT WEEK! ❤️🩶

We have had an AMAZING start to the 2026–2027 school year! As we move beyond our first week and continue establishing strong routines, here are three important reminders beginning next week:

⏰ 1. TARDIES BEGIN AT 8:00 A.M.
Instruction begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Beginning next week, the front gate will be locked at 8:00 a.m., and students arriving after that time will need to enter through the Main Office and will be marked tardy.

Please help your Seahawk arrive with enough time to be in class and ready to learn by 8:00 a.m.

👕 2. DRESS CODE EXPECTATIONS
Beginning next week, we will also begin fully enforcing our school dress code.

If your child arrives at school out of dress code, a parent/guardian will be contacted and asked to provide appropriate clothing that meets our school dress code expectations.

🏆 3. 100% ATTENDANCE = SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE!
Remember—attendance is a TEAM effort!

Students who achieve 100% attendance each month will have opportunities to participate in special monthly celebrations! 🎉

And families—we haven't forgotten about YOU! If your child maintains 100% attendance, your family will be entered into our quarterly family drawing for the opportunity to win some GREAT prizes! 🎟️🎁

Being on time, in uniform, and at school every day helps our students start each day ready for success.

To help safeguard our students and maintain a safe, supervised aftercare environment, we will implement a "phones away" expectation during Level Up Aftercare. This expectation allows our staff to maintain appropriate supervision, encourages students to remain engaged in aftercare activities, and helps prevent inappropriate recording, social media use, and other concerns that can arise from unsupervised device use.

🦅 Edlio Parent Account Update

Good afternoon, Seahawks!

It has been brought to our attention that some families are experiencing difficulties creating parent accounts in Edlio. We apologize for the inconvenience and understand how important it is for our families to be able to communicate easily with their child's school.

We are currently working with Edlio to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, if you need to contact your child's teacher, please reach out directly via email or call the school at (210) 236-7693, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to get this resolved. We will provide an update as soon as we have additional information.

We have almost 75 new families and this is new to them all. We have 66 Pre-K students carrying supplies and materials be mindful. Keep your eyes and ears open!
