Our Story

SWS offers a specialized learning environment to help students acquire the important skills they need to move forward with their employment and professional career development. At SWS the classes are small and the instructors and staff are there for you every step of the way to help you achieve your career goals. SWS Instructors have real-world career-related experience, so they help you get hands-on training to prepare for your career! Southwest Schools is located at 229 SW Military Drive in San Antonio, Texas. The school is located just a few miles from the downtown area, “The Alamo”, and the famous San Antonio “Riverwalk”. The school is easily accessible either by automobile or the local public transportation system. The building has approximately 11,000 square feet of classroom, lab, student lounge, and administrative office space that enables the school to serve our students well. The facility is well ventilated, air-conditioned and heated, well lighted, and tastefully decorated. The service area of the school includes Bexar, Comal, Wilson, Guadalupe, Medina, and Kendall Counties. The population of San Antonio is approximately 1,400,000 and the population of the San Antonio Metro area is over 2,000,000.
