Breath Break?
Feeling overwhelmed or anxious? Try this👇

The 4-7-8 breath is a powerful and effective breathing technique that can boost your mood, sharpen your focus, and improve your sleep quality 💤

Begin by sitting in a comfortable seated position while maintaining an upright posture and breathe out completely (through your mouth, making a whooshing sound) 😮‍💨

1. Breathe in for 4
2. Hold your breath for 7
3. Breathe out for 8 (through your mouth)
4. Repeat 3 x
5. Come back to regular breathing.

Start by practicing 4 rounds and then slowly build up to 8 rounds. Enhance your well-being in a few minutes by practicing twice a day. Amazing right?🤩

⁣Hiking has a way of bringing me back to the present moment. Each step on the trail grounds me—my mind quiets as I notice the crunch of leaves underfoot, the cool breeze against my skin, and the gentle rhythm of my breath. ⠀

Surrounded by nature, the worries of yesterday and the plans for tomorrow fade away. I find inspiration in the simplicity of moving forward, one step at a time, fully aware and alive in the now. ⠀

⁣⁣I have had the privilege of working with my student Mark since 2018. Mark first started his yoga learning journey with me in person twice a week in Okinawa, Japan. And when we moved to different parts of the world, we continued working together online. His journey with me has been nothing short of inspiring. 💫⠀
⠀⠀
Despite undergoing two hip replacements, Mark has shown incredible resilience and determination in his yoga practice. Through dedication and a positive mindset, Mark has embraced every challenge, learning not only to move with greater ease but also to breathe deeply, meditate mindfully, and journal his progress. His transformation is a testament to the power of perseverance and the healing potential of yoga. 🫶🏼⠀⠀

It’s been just over week since the retreat. This event stands out so much in comparison to the previous two retreats I hosted with the Yokota community. The montage I put together was quite challenging since there were so many beautiful moments. We were an intimate group this time round which worked out auspiciously with the theme I planned out in my mind for months. I am filled with so much gratitude, love & inspiration & feel blessed to be in everyone’s presence. I can bid farewell to the Yokota Communty & look forward to my new teaching journey at a different location in the world.

I hope the new friendships that developed continues to blossom as my intention for everyone is to learn something new, have fun, find balance and feel inspired. THANK YOU FOR JOINING ME & SUPPORTING ME. Lots of love ✨Namaste✨🪷🫶🏼🤸🏻‍♀️

With the rain coming down outside, today is the perfect day to slow down, become still and just listen to the beautiful sounds outside. I had my own little cacao ceremony this morning just enjoying & finding gratitude for everything big & small 🪷✨🙏
