What an amazing night to celebrate our K-12 artists! 🤩👏
The hardest part of being an art teacher is having to chose a limited number of student artworks to display in our district art show! It’s like picking a favorite color, I just have sooooo many! Here is a video of this year’s K-5 selections! In a few weeks, we will have are school’s art show where I can display ALL students’ amazing artworks 🎉🤩

Our school was lucky to get a chance to submit questions to astronauts in space! They will answer them live at our upcoming STEAM Fair in March and we are creating space themed art to display at the fair. 3rd grade worked in pairs to research a satellite and create art inspired by it. They are looking fantastic!!

Students really loved drawing Ancient Greek patterns on gold scratch paper. This lesson was a hit with third grade and is shared in my Lesson Library at mijateachesart.com 😍
