We had an incredible year at The Rise School San Antonio 💛
From welcoming wonderful new families (and celebrating the return of familiar faces) to witnessing big milestones like first steps and first words, 2025 was full of moments that truly mattered.
Our staff is sharing some of the memories that made this year so special - from joyful days filled with music and art to playful moments that support our students’ social, emotional, and cognitive growth. We’re so grateful to be part of each child’s journey.✨

Our PreK–3 classroom fully embraced the holiday spirit with a make-believe “bakery” filled with cookies, cocoa, and even a “cash register”!🍪☕️ Through festive play, our students practiced teamwork, built confidence, and strengthened friendships - all while having so much fun.
These moments of imaginative, collaborative play are at the heart of The Rise School model. Watching the kids support one another, connect with their teachers, and grow together is truly what makes this season (and this school) so special. And who doesn’t love a little gingerbread and chocolate chip magic this time of year?

A little time, the right environment, and an integrative approach can change everything.💛
“Our daughter, Eloise, has been in speech therapy since just before she turned one. She didn’t really start talking until about six months ago, and now she’s saying six- and seven-word sentences.”
As we reflect on a truly special semester at The Rise School, Eloise’s story is one that beautifully captures the heart of our mission.
Her progress is made possible through Rise’s integration model, where speech, occupational, and physical therapy are woven directly into each child’s daily classroom routine. Therapists and teachers work side by side, embedding therapeutic activities throughout the school day and regularly monitoring progress along the way.
By delivering therapy in a natural, supportive learning environment, our students are able to grow more confidently, efficiently, and joyfully. Eloise’s journey is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when children are supported holistically - and we couldn’t be more proud of her achievements.☀️

Last week here at The Rise School SA, we got into the holiday spirit with all kinds of creative fun.🎄✨
From Christmas tree crafts to using cookie cutters as paint stamps and making paper menorahs, our littles loved getting hands-on and letting their creativity shine.☀️

Our Rise School SA holiday party was full of smiles, music, and festive fun - from sweet performances by our kiddos to hands-on activities like cookie decorating and ornament making.🍪
Families even got in on some (real!) snowball fun outside, enjoyed hot cocoa and delicious eats, and were surprised by a special visit from Santa himself.🎅❄️
Thank you to all the families and friends who joined us and helped make the second annual Rise Holiday Party so special. We love our Rise family and wish you all a happy, cozy, and magical holiday season!💛

Rebecca plays a key role in supporting children across a wide range of abilities, helping them build strong foundations in communication, confidence, and connection - skills that matter both in and out of the classroom.

Spinning dreidels, splashes of color, and lots of curious minds 💙💛💚
The littles at The Rise School San Antonio celebrated Hanukkah with hands-on learning - spinning dreidels in blue and yellow paint and discovering that blue + yellow = green!
They also explored the meaning of the Festival of Lights with a kid-friendly menorah, a story about Hanukkah, and plenty of joyful moments learning through play.
A beautiful example of how creativity, culture, and curiosity come together in the classroom ✨🕎

Book fair day = the best day!📚✨
Our Rise kiddos had an absolute blast exploring all the colorful stories, flipping through their favorite finds, and discovering new books to enjoy.
Seeing them light up over reading and learning is exactly why we love days like this.💛
And honestly, we were just as excited about all the fun books… who doesn’t love a book fair! 📖

Rise students got a magical treat today🎄✨
They learned the story of The Nutcracker and even saw parts of it performed live by DeCruz Ballet during their visit to CHRISTUS Children's.
We’re so grateful for the chance to introduce our littles to a timeless classic - and the beauty of ballet! 🩰💛
