After medically retiring from the U.S. military in 2023, James is bringing his dedication, discipline, and passion for the euphonium to our low brass community as he steps into his next career path as a future educator.

Help us welcome Gene Olguin Jr. to The UT San Antonio School of Music! A graduate of Sandra Day O'Connor High School and Northwest Vista College, Gene is pursuing a degree in Music Education and joining The Boom Squad family.
