It was standing room only at our SA Stands Immigration Town Hall. Our community came out in full force in support of a San Antonio sin miedo.

Last year our members voted to prioritize protecting our immigrant staff, students, and families and we remain committed to continuing our work through our Know Your Rights Community Walks, Constitutional Observer Trainings, and being an active member of SA Stands. Solidarity now and forever with our immigrant communities ❤️

Great to spend some time this morning with former SAISD teacher and one-time (and forever!) member of the San Antonio Alliance James Talarico - the next Senator for the great state of Texas. We talked about the challenges facing public school teachers, students, and workers, and the importance of building a San Antonio, a Texas, and a country that works for working people.

We’re all in. We’re going to do everything in our power to send a teacher, union member, and one of our own San Antonio Alliance family to the Senate this November.
