St. Mary Magdalen School - San Antonio, TX

St. Mary Magdalen School - San Antonio, TX DUAL LANGUAGE | CATHOLIC | STARTING AT 3 YEARS OLD St.

We aim to foster responsible Christian behavior, reflection and prayer, mastery of basic skills, critical thinking and informed decision making. We hope to equip students with the necessary skills to become integrated persons who are happy and positive in their response to the challenges of an ever-changing, multicultural society where they will be active participants in a technologically complex world of interdependence. We aim to provide quality education for our students and to implement, within a loving faith community, the three-fold plan of Christian (Catholic) education: to teach Christian doctrine, to build community, and to serve others. We recognize that parents are the primary educators of their children; therefore, we expect and encourage parent interest and involvement in all activities concerning the growth and development of their children. Mary Magdalen School is totally committed to its education ministry in the guidance and direction of the learner as a Christian person and as a member of the community in which he/she lives and interacts. Through the cooperative and collaborative effort of administration, faculty, and students, developmental goals and instructional objectives are accomplished. The continuous and dynamic formation through instruction and discipline provides the learner with necessary skills and experiences so that he/she/may realize the ultimate goals of Catholic education, therefore becoming a responsible adult who can meet the challenges of the future and the demands of society.

🙏💙 Join us for the SMMS Rosary Challenge!

October is the Month of the Rosary, and our St. Mary Magdalen School and Parish community is coming together in a special way through prayer.

Each school day, our students and teachers will pray one decade of the Rosary, walking with Jesus and Mary through the mysteries of His life and offering our prayers for our families, school, parish, and world.

We are also asking for donations to help provide a rosary bracelet for every student and teacher. These bracelets will help make this month of prayer even more meaningful and give our students a rosary they can continue using throughout the year.

✨ Each $25 donation = 1 service hour.

Families are also encouraged to continue the challenge at home by praying one mystery of the Rosary each day.

Day by day and decade by decade, may this month bring our school and parish family closer to Jesus through Mary.

Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us! 🙏

Thank you, Mavericks! ❤️🩵

Together, we raised an incredible $47,450 for SMMS.

Every donation, every share, and every person who helped spread the word made this possible. Our families, friends, alumni, teachers, staff, businesses, and supporters showed up in a BIG way for our students and our school.

We are so grateful for this community and what we can accomplish together.

Gracias por tanto apoyo. De todo corazón, thank you. ❤️🩵

🚨 THREE HOURS LEFT, MAVS. ❤️🩵

This is it.

At MIDNIGHT TONIGHT, The Big Give officially comes to a close.

We’ve climbed a LONG way together — and we still have three hours to see just how much farther this community can go.

If you’ve been meaning to give, this is your sign.
If you’ve already given, share your grade’s link one more time.
If your grade is chasing a goal or an incentive, now is the time to make your move.

Every donation counts. Every grade can still climb. And every dollar gets us closer.

There are big moments in life that you know you’ll never forget—and yesterday was one of those moments at St. Mary Magdalen.

Yesterday, our boys wore gold in honor of Jase. 💛

We came out and earned a big win, but yesterday wasn’t just about the scoreboard. We weren’t playing only for ourselves or even just for our school. We had something bigger to play for.

Every play, every point, every ounce of effort carried a little more meaning. We played with heart, with purpose, and with Jase in our thoughts.

Proud of these boys, not just for the win, but for what they represented yesterday.
