Under the Friday Night Lights, we had the privilege of presenting our first annual **SACS Alumni Family Legacy Award** at halftime, and we could not have been more excited to honor the **Hotchkiss Family**.

It was such a special moment to see three generations of the Hotchkiss family together on the field. Their connection to SACS runs deep, from generations of students and alumni to family members who have served this school tirelessly as staff, volunteers, and faithful members of our community.

The Hotchkiss family has given so much of their time, heart, and service to San Antonio Christian School over the years, often going above and beyond simply because they love this school and the people in it.

Their legacy is truly woven into the story of SACS, and we are so grateful for the impact they have made and continue to make.

We love seeing our SACS alumni making a difference in our San Antonio community.

SACS Class of 2005 alumnus Jonathan Surls is helping support a cause that is especially close to his family’s heart, The Rise School of San Antonio.

Jonathan’s son, James, is a Pre K student at Rise, where he and his family have experienced firsthand the incredible impact of the school’s inclusive early childhood education program and the dedicated teachers and therapists who serve its students.

On Thursday, October 15, country artist Randall King will take the stage at Stable Hall at the Pearl for the 2nd Annual River City Rise Roundup, benefiting The Rise School of San Antonio.

Generations of SACS students have grown up playing on this playground, and we would love to welcome you back!

Join us for a SACS Alumni Family Picnic on Saturday, October 3, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Alumni from all generations are invited to bring their families, reconnect with former teachers and staff, grab lunch from the food trucks, and let the next generation enjoy the playground, too. Come see how much campus has grown, visit with old friends, and make a few new memories in a place that holds so many. We can’t wait to welcome you back to SACS!

Student Athlete Assistance Award, Made Possible by Chris Woolsey

School is back in session, and in so many ways, it feels like not much has changed around here. ❤️

Students still step into the hallway every Friday to recite a Bible verse to a parent. Dads still come to class on birthdays and share what they do for work. We still have feasts, back-to-school picnics, and traditions that make this place feel like home. And the teachers? They really are still some of the very best around.

There’s something pretty special about watching another generation grow up with so many of the same traditions that shaped us.

But I will say… one thing has definitely changed.

The computers. 😂💻
