Alpha Kappa Delta - Alpha Xi - UTSA Sociology Alpha Kappa Delta Alpha Xi chapter was founded at The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2009 with the purpose of furthering scholastic achievement.

AKD stands for Alpha Kappa Delta, a non-secret, democratic, international society of scholars dedicated to the ideal of Athropon Katamannthanein Diakonesin or “to investigate humanity for the purpose of service.
