I loved using Crash Course videos in my classroom and so appreciate how well they’ve always understood the challenges teachers face in the classroom. The fact you can either watch these on YouTube for free or download them all is such a bonus! The content is high quality and engaging too!

Teachers how do you use thinking maps in your classroom? We know they can be effective tools to help students but when where and how to use is sometimes confusing. Using a bubble map as a exit ticket after a lesson has worked well for me and using more categorical maps like a concept map have also worked well as formative checks. What’s worked for you?

I loved using graphic organizers like these with my students to help keep to process consistent and guide them through the steps until they felt confident. Find these and more in my TpT store!
When I was teaching history I LOVED teaching students how to write DBQs but there are so many steps to the process so using a graphic organizer like this really helped students through the process. Do you teach DBQ writing? Share your tips and tricks in the comments!
