Incoming freshmen will be joining us August 10-11 from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM for two days of orientation, campus connections, and everything you need to feel ready for the year ahead.

Lunch will be provided both days. Freshmen attend both days and transfer students only need to attend August 10.

The Incarnate Word High School community is heartbroken by the tragic passing of former IWHS Principal Mrs. Salazar Mugica and her husband, Carlos Mugica IV.

Mrs. Salazar Mugica served IWHS from August 2015 through May 2018, leading our school community with dedication, care, and a deep commitment to our students, faculty, and families.

During this difficult time, we especially hold in prayer Carlie Jo Mugica ’14 and Taylor Mugica Onofre ’17, daughters of Carlos Mugica and beloved members of our IWHS alumnae community.

We ask our Shamrock family to join us in praying for the Mugica family, their loved ones, and all who are grieving this tremendous loss.

Join us this summer for ✨Summer on the Hill✨ at Incarnate Word High School! Your daughter will enjoy hands on learning, creative exploration, and engaging academic activities in a fun and welcoming environment. Campers will build new skills, make lasting friendships, and experience the power of sisterhood all summer long! 🍀

Session 1: June 15 – June 19
Session 2: July 13 – July 17

⏰ Camp Hours: 9 AM – 12 PM Daily

One of IWHS’ most entertaining traditions, the event marks each class moving into their next grade level through choreographed dances, themed outfits, and plenty of school spirit. Throughout the year, students sit in designated sections of the gym based on their class year, and today’s performances symbolized that transition into their new spots for next year.

From the music choices to the costumes, every class made their moment count. ✨

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 💚🎓 The tassels were turned, the caps were tossed, and a new chapter officially begins. Wishing our graduates success, happiness, and blessings in all that comes next.
