In partnership with The Center for Health Care Services, we’ll assemble care kits for San Antonians living with mental health conditions, substance use challenges, and other disabilities. We’ll also celebrate Mass, enjoy activities, and share lunch together.

This week’s Ambassador Spotlight features Annabella Larez!

A graduate of St. Matthew’s, Annabella serves as Captain of the Emeraldettes, Vice President of Music Ministry, NHS Secretary, and Secretary of Treasury for Model United Nations. She is also a member of Interact Club. Her favorite subjects are history and English, and outside of school she enjoys participating in musical theatre productions and student directing. Assertive, compassionate, and genuine, Annabella is proud to represent IWHS as a Student Ambassador! 💚

Abby is among approximately 34,000 students nationwide to receive this distinction from an initial pool of approximately 1.3 million National Merit Program entrants — placing her among roughly the top 3% of participants nationwide.

This prestigious recognition honors students who demonstrated exceptional academic promise through their outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT. We are proud to celebrate Abigail and this outstanding academic achievement!

Our freshmen stepped away from the classroom for a day focused on connection, reflection, and faith.

The day began at Cielo Vista Team Challenge, where the Class of 2030 worked together through team-building activities that encouraged communication, trust, and plenty of support for one another. They ended their retreat with Mass, taking time to reflect on the day and the community they are building at IWHS.

A meaningful day of growing closer as a class and continuing to find their place in the Shamrock sisterhood. ☘️
