Behlau Elementary PTA 2016-2017

Good afternoon Behlau parents and friends. Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow does start our Christmas penguin shoppe store. We are still in need of volunteers so if you are interested please contact [email protected] so We can get you all signed up. For those parents that don't know what the shop is and is new to our school, we set up a little shop for the kids to be able come purchase Christmas for their loved ones. The shop will be open Dec. 5 - Dec. 9 from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. If your child would like to shop before or after school they must have an adult present with them! We can't wait to see the little ones come and shop! 😊😊

Good Morning Behlau Parents! It's that time of the year again Christmas!!!😊 We will be having the Penguin Shoppe December 5-9. For those that don't know what the Penguin Shoppe is, we like to set up a little store for kids to be able to buy stuff for their families. We sent home a flyer and envelope that you can put money in and send with child. We are in need of Volunteers for working the shop and wrapping gifts. Happy Thursday!!

Our box tops have been postmarked and shipped! I am beyond thrilled to announce that we exceeded our October goal of 4,500 and collected a whopping 5,502 box tops!!!

I truly believe we have the best students, the best teachers/staff, and the best parents here at Behlau ES!! Thank you all so much for your donations and your incredible support! This school year, we've collected 10,448 box tops, earning our school $1,448 in just two months!! That is tremendous!!!

Movie Day winners (one class in each grade level) will be announced tomorrow morning, along with our overall winner of the movie snack pack and Classroom Superhero!

I am so proud of our school and so happy to a part of such an awesome community! Way to go Bulldogs!

📣📣Box Tops update!!📣📣

Our final box tops count for the month of September is 4,946!! We exceeded our goal by more than 1,400 box tops!! Way to go, Bulldogs!! Give yourself a paw on the back! I won't give away Mrs. Fries' dare, but she may find herself in a "hairy" situation!!!

The winner of the Classroom Heroes of the Month contest for September is...... (**drum roll**) Mrs. Bendele's 3rd grade class with a total of 1,284 box tops collected! Mrs. Bendele's class will receive the Box Tops classroom trophy🏆 and have their photo📸 displayed on the Box Top Wall of Fame! 🎉Congratulations on a job well done!!🎉

Today begins the Box Tops Movie Day contest!🎬 The class that brings in the most box tops in each grade level wins movie time during class! The class that brings in the most box tops in the whole school will take home a movie snack pack!! 🍿 The Movie Day contest ends Friday, October 21st. This month our box tops goal is 4,500 box tops!! Let's see Mrs. Fries perform another stunt!!! Our first submission deadline is November 1st, so keep clipping!!!!!! Thank you for your help!!!!

Last week our students brought in over 1,000 box tops!! That's incredible!!! And we still have two weeks before the end of our September contest!

Here are the top 3 contenders for Behlau's Classroom Heroes of the Month contest:

Mrs. Bendele's class- 1,044 box tops
Mrs. Estrada's class- 212 box tops
Mrs. Warrington's class- 179 box tops

Anything can happen in these last two weeks, so keep the box tops coming!!

And remember, if we reach our monthly goal of 3,500 box tops, Mrs. Fries will perform a dare for the students!! We're almost there!!

Happy Monday, everyone! I'm so excited to spend my morning putting these rewards together for our students who have brought in 25 or more box tops this month!

So far, we have collected 1,013 box tops for our school, which is $101.30, and we're not even halfway through the month!! We're off to a clip-tastic start, so tell your children to keep collecting! And thank you again for your incredible support!! See you all at tomorrow's PTA meeting!

Good evening everyone! Please don't forget to sign up for PTA and get your child or children's names in the bubble gum machine! Let's fill it up and show what great parent's, friend's, family, and staff we have at Behlau Elementary! Remember anyone can sign up and it benefits our school. Without PTA we wouldn't be able to have all the fun functions like dances, carnivals, and all the other fun stuff we have at our school! Remember PTA isn't just an organization we are the voices for our children. Thanks to all that have already joined and I look forward to seeing the machine fill up! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
