For the safety of staff and students, all SAISD schools and offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26. Please stay warm and safe. At this time, we expect to be open on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

We invite scholars to kickoff the rodeo by wearing their western wear. Secondly, the food distribution that was originally scheduled for this Saturday has been postponed to January 31st. 🗓️💸 SAISD Class of 2026, mark your calendars! ️Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before Jan. 15, 2026, for priority consideration.

FAFSA will help determine your eligibility for federal and state financial aid – like grants (free money), scholarships and affordable loans. (Private and two-year institutions may have different deadlines.)

To get started, you’ll need student and parent/guardian StudentAid.Gov accounts (FSA ID). (Plus, have your personal information and income/asset information – like 2024 Federal Income Taxes – on hand.)

Your College Bound Advisor or counselor can walk you (and your family) through the process. Stop by your school’s college hub or start your application at https://studentaid.gov/
