Join Naomi Shihab Nye and the San Antonio Writing Project (SAWP) NEXT Friday, July 1st as they read and write about trash from different angles, drawing inspiration from Nye’s book, Cast Away: Poems for our time. This program is designed for teenage and adult audiences.

The San Antonio Writing Project is excited to announce an upcoming collaboration with local author, Jonny Garza Villa, as part of our new writing workshop series. The event will take place online Saturday, May 07 from 1-2:30PM CST. The targeted audience of this workshop is high school students and college undergraduates. There is no cost to attend but space is limited so registration is required. Please share this information with a writer that would be interested in attending. We hope they can join us!
