The love of learning starts early—and Dr. Martinez is helping our youngest students discover that school is a place to learn, explore and have FUN!
She leads Stafford ECC with the belief that every child has incredible potential. Through play, discovery and meaningful early learning experiences, students are building the skills and confidence that will carry them through their educational journey. This Principal Appreciation Month, we thank Dr. Martinez for creating a joyful place where little learners can take BIG first steps toward success!

Safe rides start with being prepared! Edgewood ISD students and drivers practice bus safety throughout the year.
Remind your student to: 🚌 Listen to the driver 🚌 Stay seated 🚌 Follow directions 🚌 Stay calm during drills
Together, we can help keep every ride safe!

You made it through Monday. That deserves a win.

You showed up.
You worked hard.
You started the week strong.

Now comes the challenge: Can you keep the streak going?

Today = Day 1.
Tomorrow = another chance to be present and keep building.

Pack your bag. Set your alarm. Get some rest.

Then come back tomorrow ready for Day 2.

One day at a time. One attendance streak at a time. Let’s keep it going, EISD!

Check your attendance at www.eisd.net.

Your team counts on you on game day. Your future counts on you every school day.
Athletes know success starts with showing up.

You show up for practice.
You show up for your teammates.
You show up when the game is on the line.

Bring that same commitment to the classroom.

Strong school attendance helps student-athletes stay on track with assignments, protect their grades and make the most of every opportunity.

The game plan is simple:
✓ Be in class every day.
✓ Arrive on time.
✓ Stay focused.
✓ Ask for help before you fall behind.

Talent can open doors. Discipline keeps them open.

Show up for your team. Show up for your education. Show up for your future.

That text can wait. Your student’s future can’t.

At Edgewood ISD, we want every student focused, connected and ready to learn.

That’s why personal devices must be powered OFF and stored OUT OF SIGHT during the school day.

And it’s more than a school rule. Texas law requires public schools to prohibit student use of personal communication devices during the school day.

One notification can become one distraction. One distraction can mean missing directions, an important lesson or a chance to connect with classmates.

Together, we can keep classrooms focused on what matters most: our students and their success.
