About The Montessori School of San Antonio
The Montessori School of San Antonio (MSSA) builds on the philosophical and psychological principles developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Montessori at MSSA is an education that is both nurturing and rigorous, respecting each student’s unique pace and style of learning while continually encouraging each child to reach his/her maximum potential. It is an edu
cation that addresses the critical integration of knowledge, skills, understanding, and moral action. The Montessori School of San Antonio’s Social Media Commenting Guideline

💚💙Camp MSSA is in full swing, and our campus is buzzing with a mixture of activities. Primary campers are diving into Ocean Adventure and getting hands-on with nature in Down in the Garden. Our older campers are drumming, scoring, solving, unplugging, and cooking their way through Drum it Out, Touchdown and Hoops, Hidden Treasures, Digital Detox, and Sweet Creations. So much fun at Camp MSSA.

“One moment that stood out to me this year was doing insect research.” 💙💚
✨Written by our students from Primary through Middle School, this series shares the moments that mattered most to them during the 2025–2026 school year. Across MSSA, these student-written reflections remind us that when children are trusted to follow their interests, they remember the moments when their work feels meaningful.
✨This series celebrates MSSA as a place where even the youngest students see themselves as thinkers, researchers, and capable contributors to their community.

✨We’re thrilled to share that one of our Stellar Night Gala dreams is already becoming a reality. A storage shed has been purchased, thanks to the incredible generosity of our MSSA community.💙 Why a new shed? We needed a larger, safe space to store event materials, equipment, and supplies that make our community events stand out. The shed frees up space in the building to properly store learning materials, which also keeps classrooms clutter-free.
💚💙Thank you to everyone who sponsored, donated, bid, volunteered, and showed up for our Stellar Night! Your support is already making a big difference!

🍿Signs were made, the big screen was set up, and Spurs decor was everywhere for a kid-friendly NBA Finals watch party. It was a rollercoaster of a night, but such a joy to cheer together and share the heartbreak of the game.
🩶🖤We want to give a huge shout-out to the San Antonio Spurs Organization. Thanks to their incredible generosity, MSSA was gifted 10 tickets to Saturday’s Game. Five families were selected in a drawing to receive two tickets each. Thank you, Spurs, for creating unforgettable memories for our students and families and for investing so deeply in the San Antonio nonprofit community.
