🚨🔥 Candlewood STEM Academy Eagles SOAR During Our First Fire Drill! 🦅

This morning, our Candlewood STEM Academy Eagles participated in their very first fire drill of the school year, and we could not be more proud! 💙💚

Fire drills are an important part of keeping our students and staff safe, and we are required to conduct at least one fire drill each month. Our Eagles did an amazing job listening to directions, staying calm, moving safely, and showing just how responsible they can be! 👏🏼

Next up, on September 1st, we will participate in our first lockdown drill. As we get closer, we will share more information with our families about what to expect.

Today was a wonderful reminder that our Eagles are not only ready to learn and discover, but they are also ready to SOAR safely! 🦅✨

Our very first week of school is officially in the books, and what a GREAT start it has been! We have loved welcoming so many new Eagle families from other campuses and districts, while also celebrating the return of some of our former Eagles. ❤️

And here’s a celebration worth sharing: our car rider line shaved 15 minutes off from Wednesday to Friday! 🙌🚗 We’re getting better and better each day! Thank you for your patience, grace, and understanding as we work together to make arrival and dismissal run smoothly.

KLRN is hosting FREE Military Play & Learn sessions this fall for children ages 0–10. 🧸✨

Join for hands-on activities, stories, and songs while connecting with other military families in the community. We’ll share helpful resources on child development, family routines, self-care, and navigating transitions! 🤝📚
