This week is Gifted and Talented Awareness Week. We are proud to recognize and celebrate the unique talents and needs of our G/T students. We also want to thank our educators and families who support and inspire them every day.

Topic: What is Gifted and Talented? Demystifying the Identification Process
Description: What exactly does it mean to be in Gifted and Talented Services in Texas? You may be surprised to know that many of the students who benefit the most from services have not been identified. In this session, we will explore what Gifted Services are in Texas and what the identification process can look like in your child’s school. We will also talk about ways to communicate with your child’s campus for equitable identification.
